More than half a million people have lost all their wealth and land due to the floods that have horribly affected one-third of Pakistan’s territory.

So far 1162 people have been killed and 3554 injured in the Great Flood. The Meteorological Department said it was the first time since 1961 that the monsoon had been so strong that it had led to a major flood. 500 times the normal rainfall has washed away a third of Pakistan.
