Clearing of vegetation, vines and bushes around the helipad is in full swing with the use of bogline machinery and modern equipment. Leveling of the helipad is also in full swing.

Apart from this, the Government Guest House complex in Kanyakumari is also being renovated for the accommodation of Prime Minister M. K. Stalin and Rahul Gandhi.
