Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has directed the officers to implement the schemes and policies related to Industries and Commerce Department on priority basis, so that maximum investment can be made in the state and employment generation for the youth of the state.
Chandigarh, (Bansal): Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has directed the officers to implement the schemes and policies related to the Industries and Commerce Department on priority basis, so that maximum investment can be made in the state and the way of employment for the youth of the state is paved. .
The Deputy CM, who also holds the charge of Industries and Commerce Department, today attended the Industries and Commerce Department and MSME in his office here. Reviewing various policies and plans of Labor and Employment Minister Anoop Dhanak was also present on the occasion. Dushyant Chautala said that the state government wants to establish Haryana as a competitive and preferred investment destination. The main objective of the state government is to promote regional development, export diversification and generate employment for the youth by attracting external investment.
In the presence of the Deputy Chief Minister, the departmental officers told through a presentation that out of 44 schemes under ‘Haryana Enterprises and Employment Policy-2020’, 37 have been drafted and notified. 2156 applications have been received for various incentives. He informed that special incentives have been approved for 8 mega projects in the state. An investment of about Rs 24328 crore is proposed in these projects. Dushyant Chautala instructed the senior officers in the review meeting to assess the schemes from time to time and present the stories of successful entrepreneurs to the people, so that others can also take inspiration from them. Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department Anand Mohan Sharan, Director General Shekhar Vidyarthi besides other senior officers were present on the occasion.
