Kochi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Kerala, said that the BJP government’s ambition is development for all.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come to Kerala to inaugurate various welfare schemes and lay foundation stones for many projects. Government officials welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Kochi International Airport at 4.30 pm.
Thousands of BJP members gathered outside the Kochi airport to welcome Prime Minister Modi by showering them with flowers.
From there, Modi went to Nedumbassery by car, where he attended a public meeting organized by the BJP and spoke.

Prime Minister Modi, who started his speech in Malayalam, said, “It gives me great joy to be in Kerala during the Onam festival. I extend my heartfelt Onam greetings to the loving people of Kerala.”
After that Modi spoke in English. Then he said, “We are in an important period to make India a developed country. Kerala, a state where there are hard workers, should contribute a lot to the development of India. The BJP government is working at the center with the goal of integrated development for all. This is a government for the people. This is a government for you.”
After this public meeting, Prime Minister Modi will go to Kalladi village, the birthplace of Adi Shankaracharya around 6 pm and visit Adi Shankara Janmabhoomi.
Prime Minister dedicates the warship
After that, Modi will visit the Kochi Naval Base at 9.30 am tomorrow, where he will dedicate the first fully indigenously built aircraft carrier INS Vikrant to the country. Following this, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for the second phase of the Kochi Metro Railway project to be carried out at a cost of Rs 1,950 crore.
Following this, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Kurupandara – Kottayam – Singhavanam railway line and also lay the foundation stone for the renovation project of Ernakulam Junction, Ernakulam Nagar and Kollam railway stations.
Trip to Mangalore
After inaugurating these projects in Kerala, PM Modi will visit Mangalore in Karnataka. There he will lay the foundation stone for a cargo and container handling facility at Mangalore Port. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate projects worth Rs.3,800 crore in Mangalore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the BJP rally at Goldfinch Maidan after laying the foundation stone for the projects. According to Karnataka BJP sources, more than 2 lakh people will participate in this rally. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Pommy, Union Shipping Minister Sarvananda Sonaval, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prakalat Joshi and others are expected to attend the event.
BJP has been moving the pieces recently targeting the southern states. BJP is carrying out a plan for this under the name of ‘Operation South’. According to BJP sources, the scheme is being worked on under the direct supervision of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Initiating central government schemes in southern states; It seems that strategies such as recruiting leading actors from respective states to the BJP will be handled in Operation South. As part of this, Amit Shah recently toured Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He campaigned in a by-election constituency in Telangana. Later he met Telugu leading actor Junior NTR. There were reports that Amit Shah was planning to strengthen the BJP in Telangana by promoting Junior NTR.
In this case, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Kerala and Karnataka is seen as a part of Operation South.
