Kamareddy: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Telangana state government is changing the names of central schemes. He criticized that if the center gives one name, the state gives another name. The Union Minister spoke at a media conference organized at Kamareddy.

“The cost of the Kaleshwaram project has been increased to Rs. 1.20 lakh crores. The cost of the projects is being increased at will. While ‘Mana Ooru-Mana Badi’ is a central scheme, it is being claimed as a state scheme. Ayushman is not joining India because people will understand the facts. In Telangana, 91 out of every 100 farmers are in debt. Why not giving crop insurance? Telangana ranks fourth in farmer suicides in the country. Why they could not waive the loan of Rs. Why is Rythu Bima not given to tenant farmers? They are making big promises but not fulfilling them. A surplus budget has become a deficit budget. They are borrowing more than the budget approval. The assembly does not know the external debt. The budget does not show much debt. The Center has the power to inquire about debts. There is a debt of Rs.1.25 lakhs on every child born in Telangana. Telangana has crossed the FRBM limit. You answer for your state before the whole country turns around. Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that those who have been accused in the liquor scam should answer.
