Anant chaturdashi 2022: Anant Chaturdashi fast is observed in many parts of India. Lord Vishnu is worshiped on this day and after worship Anant is also tied on the arm. Method of Anant Chaturdashi Puja
The importance of Anant Chaturdashi fast is described in Agni Purana. On this day, after bathing in the morning, install the Kalash at the place of worship. After this, put a picture of Lord Vishnu on the Kalash. Make an infinite thread by dyeing a thread with kumkum, saffron and turmeric, it should have fourteen knots. Place these sutras in front of the picture of Lord Vishnu. Now worship Lord Vishnu and Anant Sutra and ‘Anant Sansara Mahasumadre Magram Sambhayudhar Vasudeva. Anantrupe Viniyojayasva Hranantasutraya Namo Namaste.’ Chant the mantra. After this, tie the infinite thread in the arm. It is believed that by wearing this sutra, troubles are destroyed.
