Rasika Pradhan, a native of nearby Mundkav village, proposed to Reema Majhi. But this was rejected by the family members of the young woman. This angered Pradhan and planned to kill the young woman.

As the other laborers tried to stop the attack, they were also attacked in the main. Later he also committed suicide. The leather workers rushed Pradhan to the hospital. The police said that the situation is critical.
