They said that the vaccines given by India have helped them a lot. He said that 90 percent of the population of Bangladesh has been vaccinated against Corona.

Sheikh Hasina said that India is their reliable friend. India stood by them when they needed them for the first time in 1971. They will always remember India’s role in the 1971 war. Hasina reminded that she lost all her family members in 1975. The then Prime Minister of India gave her asylum in India. He said that he would give priority to the friendship between the two countries.

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh believes that the relations between the two countries should improve the lives of the people. Hasina reminded that President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Modi have come to participate in the centenary celebrations of the father of the nation of Bangladesh and the 50th Independence Day celebrations even during Covid. They said that they would give priority to the alliance between the two countries.
