Jail sentence for Madapur SI Rajendra in bribery case.. ACB court has given verdict

The ACB court has sentenced a police officer who was found guilty of corruption to jail. Along with this, fines have been ordered. The details are as follows. K. Rajendra, who is currently working as Madapur SI, has previously worked as SI in Rayadurgam Police Station. In the year 2013, while the SI was performing his duties there, he demanded a bribe of Rs.10 thousand to release the bike belonging to a person named Irshad Quresh.

Due to this, the victim took shelter of the ACB officials. A complaint was received from him. ACB officials caught Quresh while offering bribe to SI. The police registered a case on this. Since then, the trial is going on in the ACB court. Recently the court has issued a verdict in this case. Imprisonment for two years and a fine of five thousand rupees. It said that if the fine is not paid, the punishment will be increased by three months.
