Trains like Sinhagad Express, Deccan Queen running between the two cities Mumbai-Pune are getting crowded in the reservation coaches. Bhaigiri has started for unreserved tickets or ticketless passengers. There was heavy fighting and zombie fighting in the Sinhagad Express which was going from Pune to Mumbai on Wednesday and coming to Pune from Mumbai on Thursday evening. Due to this, the passengers traveling with reservation have started feeling scared.
In Sinhagad Express, along with reservation coaches, general coaches are also sufficient. Yet these passengers with unreserved tickets are sneaking into the reservation compartments. This time the passengers were zombies when boarding the train, going from abusing each other to fighting when they got inside.
On Wednesday, a man in his fifties punched a young man while boarding the Sinhagad Express from Pune to Mumbai. This made the young man’s shoulder go numb. When the young man asked about this, the person started beating the young man. Due to this jolt, it fell on the passengers sitting on the seats. In these coaches, often even the TCs do not move around to check the tickets. Even if you look at the next station, the railway police is nowhere to be seen. Due to this, the passengers making reservation have to travel under the shade of worry and fear.
A similar incident happened in the reserved compartment on Thursday as well. A young man in his twenties and a bodybuilder in his forties faced each other. They ran over each other and fought. Due to this, the atmosphere in the compartment became tense for some time. There was no police complaint of both these types.
Intruders are common…
Intruders in the reserved coaches have become a regular occurrence in the Mumbai-Pune journey. From CST, Dadar, these intruders travel to Karjat in reserved coaches. Even if they say that there is a reservation, they do not take the name of getting up from the seat saying show the ticket. Those who travel by booking Sinhagad Express have to face this dilemma every day. Similarly, there is a possibility of theft of passengers’ bags and belongings. Due to this, passengers are demanding that the railway administration take action against the pass holders of such intrusive locales.
