Dialogue Source, Pauakhali (Kishanganj) : The dispute over mobile dispute with Junior Engineer of Power Sub Station Abhay Ranjan over power failure in Pauaakhali police station area of ​​Thakurganj block reached till the fight. After a dispute over the complaint of electricity over the phone, when the JE went to the village with some workers, the villagers took hostages and beat them up badly. The incident happened late Thursday evening.

After the incident, on the statement of the injured junior engineer, a case has been registered against about 15 to 20 unidentified accused including seven nominees for obstructing government work, abusing and abusing the serving personnel while on duty and under other charges at the Pauakhali police station. So far one accused has been taken into custody by the police in the case.

The matter has happened in Khanabari under Rasia Panchayat of Paukhali police station area. According to the information, due to the power failure for a long time on Thursday, Prakash Kumar Das, a resident of Khanabari of Rasia Panchayat, called on the mobile of Abhay Ranjan, Junior Engineer of Pauakhali Power Sub Station. Inquiries about the power failure on the phone reached abusive. After this, Junior Engineer Abhay Ranjan along with some of his employees was going through Paaakhali Day Market Road when in the meantime, the accused and others clashed at Khanabari Chowk and the villagers took hostage and beat up JE fiercely.

According to the application given by the Junior Engineer in the police station, he has told that he was going to the said place from his departmental work with meter reader Prabhash Kumar Sinha and Manav Bal Manoj Kumar Rai. Meanwhile, the accused assaulted some of his family members and other villagers by stopping their motorcycle and seriously injuring them. During this, the mobile was slammed and broken and a gold chain of about 10 grams and a ring of five grams were also snatched. Apart from this, the amount of revenue collected in the form of electricity bill was also snatched from the meter reader Prabhas Kumar Sinha who was with him.

Paaakhali Police Sub-Inspector PC Rahi, who reached the information, reached the spot with a team force and took one of the accused into custody. After reaching the senior officials of the Electricity Department, Assistant Engineer Amarjeet Kumar, Assistant IT Manager Shivendra Shivam, Galgalia Junior Engineer Rajesh Ranjan and Pothia’s Junior Engineer Brijnandan Prasad Singh reached Poakhali and inquired about the matter. On the other hand, the junior engineer was sent by the police to Thakurganj for first aid in the injured condition.

Pauaakhali Police Station Ariz Ehkam said that one of the main accused Prakash Kumar Das has been detained in the case and raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused. Video footage related to the assault has also been found, on the basis of which other unknown accused are being identified. Among the accused named, Prakash Kumar Das, Tikas Kumar Das, Niwas Kumar Das, Solen Kumar Das, Ashwini Prasad Das, Bhavesh Kumar Sinha, Bullen Kumar Das are all residents of Sakin Khanabari Panchayat Rasiya police station, Pauakhali.
