A controversy arose over who will host the Dussehra gathering at the historic Shivaji Park this year. Now while hearing this controversy, the Bombay High Court has allowed the Shiv Sena’s Thackeray faction to hold a Dussehra gathering at Shivaji Park. He also made an important observation that the Mumbai Municipal Corporation had misused its powers. On the other hand, Shinde group MLA Sada Saravankar had filed an intervention petition against the Thackeray group’s petition. While hearing this, the High Court has also rejected this petition. Shiv Sena leader Neelam Gorhe reacted to the media on the court’s decision.

Neelam Gorhe said, “We have full faith in the judiciary of the Mumbai High Court and the Supreme Court. We are deeply grateful for the decision given by the court after understanding all sides. The issues in this petition show that nothing happened till 21st after applying to the Municipal Corporation. After that we went to court. Along with this, this Vijayadashami meeting of Shiv Sena is held at Shivtirtha for many years. Never before had such law and order issues been created. Rather, after examining all these sides, he has also made it clear that we are not commenting on matters pending before the Supreme Court. But in the existing traditions, the continuity of Shiv Sena from the role of one Maidan, one leader for many years and we have applied as per the rules. Considering it, the High Court has given a very absolute decision and we are thankful to them.”
Along with this, “The court has fulfilled our hopes and expectations regarding Vijayadashami. We bow to all the gods and thanks the court for the right decision, we want to ensure that all the directions of the court are followed.” Gorhe also said this at this time.
MP Vinayak Raut’s first reaction as soon as the Shinde group’s petition was rejected, said…
So “We are deeply grateful to God of justice, truth has won in the court. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray from the very beginning was adamant that we believe in God of Justice. We were sure, confident that we would get permission to celebrate Dussehra Mela at Shivtirtha itself. Today, our confidence has come true. Once again I thank the Goddess of Justice.” MP Vinayak Raut has said this.
