New Delhi
One more BJP MLA resigned in Tripura. Barba Mohan Tripura from Karbuk tribal reservation has resigned from the Legislative Assembly and BJP membership. He is the fourth BJP MLA to resign in two and a half years. MLAs are bothered by the fact that the BJP government is isolated from the people due to anti-people policies and violent politics. The Left Front under the leadership of the CPI-M is conducting strong agitations.

The resignation of the MLA on the first day of the assembly session was a big blow to the Manik Saha government. Biplav Kumar Deb was replaced by Saha as the chief minister when the work of the state government became a complete failure. Barba Mohan has decided to join a local party called Titra Motha.

Ashish Das, Sudeep Roy Burman and Ashish Kumar Saha are the BJP MLAs who resigned earlier. They returned to Congress and Trinamool. Elections in Tripura will be held early next year.
