Kalka. The team of doctors of PGI reached Kalka SDH on Friday and inquired about all the activities done by the hospital management for the prevention of dengue. The team inspected the hospital and also collected records of all the work done by the hospital management regarding dengue in August and September. The team also reviewed all the work done in the hospital including the lab of the hospital.
Let us inform that the CMO of Sector-6 Civil Hospital had written a letter to the PGI to help in the investigation of the cause of deaths. After this, a team of PGI is collecting necessary information by visiting Pinjore-Kalka area. On the other hand, according to the high officials of the Health Department, there is a possibility of other diseases besides death due to fever in Panchkula district. Due to this, a study is being done by the PGI team to know the cause of death. After the study report comes, the cause of death will be known in a concrete way.
103 fever patients came on Friday
SMO Dr. Narwal said that out of 234 OPDs, 103 fever patients came to the sub-divisional hospital Kalka on Friday. Of these, 128 CBC samples were taken and a total of 94 ELISA tests were conducted at Kalka Hospital. Of these, 47 were found positive including the last test. 57 patients of fever have been admitted on Friday. Out of the last admitted patients, 3 have been discharged and 2 patients have been referred to Civil Hospital Panchkula.
