Although the normal average minimum temperature is 7.5 degrees.

During the day there was a cold wave only for one day. For this reason, since 2019, it has also been the hottest January in the day. The average maximum temperature of the month was 19.7 degrees. In 2019 it was 21.2 degrees.

Fog once again disturbed on Tuesday

After 24 hours of record rain, fog once again created trouble on Tuesday. Due to this the visibility level was also affected and people were seen driving vehicles with headlights on till around 9 pm. While the visibility level at Safdarjung was 500 meters at 5.30 am, it was only 50 meters at Palam. At 8.30 am, the visibility at Palam remained at 50 meters while it was reduced to 200 meters at Safdarjung.

On the other hand, the maximum temperature on Tuesday was 20.2 degrees. This is two degrees less than normal. And the minimum temperature was 9.9 degrees. This is also two degrees less than normal. The humidity level in the air ranged from 71 to 100 percent.

According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear on Wednesday. The wind will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour. The maximum temperature can remain up to 20 and minimum up to 10 degrees. On the other hand, between February 2 and 6, the maximum temperature will be 21 to 24 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 10 to 11 degrees.
