Congress working president Dhruva Narayan passed away due to a heart attack.

DRMS Hospital Dr. Manjunath has confirmed his death. When Narayan developed chest pain, his driver admitted him to the hospital at 6.40 am. But, they could not be saved.

KPCC working president R Dhruv Narayan passed away today in Mysore due to a heart attack. He has been an MP from Chamrajnagar twice. Dhruv Narayan was a senior Congress leader.

An influential Dalit leader

Dhruv Narayan was an influential Dalit leader of old Mysore. Also, he was a close friend of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He was considered a big leader in Chamarajnagar during the election period. Dhruv Narayan has also served as MP and MLA for two times. This time he was going to contest from Nanjangudu assembly constituency. Meanwhile, MP Pratap Singh has condoled the death of Dhruv Narayan. Pratap Singh wrote, ‘God took away such a good person…Om Shanti!’
