Pune: The state is experiencing stormy rains. Today (24th) Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada has been warned of rain with lightning, thunder and gale.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of light rain with lightning at isolated places in Konkan.
The maximum temperature of the state is fluctuating and the heat is increasing. Chandrapur recorded the highest temperature in the state at 36.0 degrees Celsius in the 24 hours till Thursday (23rd) morning.
The maximum temperature was between 31 and 35 degrees in most places of the state. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature remains above 14 degrees in most places.
A low pressure belt is active from Rayalaseema to south Chhattisgarh at an altitude of 1.5 km above sea level. Also, due to the disruption of wind flow, the weather is conducive to rain.
Today (24th) in Nandurbar, Dhule, Jalgaon, Nashik, Solapur in Madhya Maharashtra, while in Parbhani, Hingoli, Nanded, Dharashiv, Latur districts of Marathwada, thunderstorm warning has been issued.
