Committed suicide after losing in a video game
The 14-year-old child could not bear the defeat in the video and committed suicide. Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum district. The death of this child has raised many questions. M Shiven, son of S Sridhar, who lives in Railway Colony, Panch Mode, used to play online video games.
Wasn’t going to school due to ill health
Shiven was unwell for a few days and was not going to school. According to relatives, he used to spend more time in online video games. This time he had to face defeat in the game. Shiven could not bear this defeat and committed suicide. He was hanged in his own railway quarters by making a noose.
While playing online games, suddenly used to laugh and used to get depressed.
Shiven was addicted to online games. He used to express his feelings loudly while playing many times. Father S Sridhar is working in Chakradharpur Railway. He is the steno of the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner of RPF. He was on duty at the time of the incident. His mother is a teacher in DPS school, she also went to school. Son M Shiven was also studying in class 8 in DPS school. He is the younger of two brothers. Family members say that he always used to play online games. Sometimes he used to laugh while playing and sometimes he used to get sad.
Family members knew about video game addiction
The family members used to explain to him, but no one had thought that he would take such a big step. After the death of the child, he was taken to the railway hospital at around two o’clock. Where the doctors declared him dead. There is mourning in the family. Many officers of RPF and many teachers of DPS had also reached the hospital.
