CM Manohar Lal said that talks will be held with the Union Ministry of Railways regarding both the rail projects so that they can be implemented at the earliest with 50-50 percent cost sharing.
If the central government agrees to bear half the cost of these projects, then the state government is ready to bear half the cost.

Rail connectivity between Garhi Harsaru, Farrukhnagar and Jhajjar
Giving information, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that the government has decided to provide rail connectivity to IGI Airport and Hisar’s Maharaja Aggression Airport via Bijwasan, Gurugram, Garhi Harsaru, Sultanpur, Farrukhnagar and Jhajjar.
He informed that in the first phase rail connectivity would be developed between Garhi Harsaru, Farrukhnagar and Jhajjar while in the second phase Maharaja Agrasen Airport, Hisar would be connected.

The proposed project by HRIDC will develop Garhi Harsaru-Farrukhnagar (11 km) existing single line and Farrukhnagar-Jhajjar (24 km) missing link into double line. It will cost Rs 1225 crore.
Jhajjar to Rohtak (37 km) existing single line and Rohtak-Dobh Bhali-Hansi (68 km) work is being done by Northern Railway. The 25 km rail line from Hansi to Maharaja Agrasen Airport Hisar will be developed in the second phase.
