
Patna, Jagran Correspondent. Light to moderate rain will occur at most places in Bihar for the next few days. Hail may also fall at one or two places. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in Purnia, Kishanganj and Katihar on Thursday.
Apart from this, an orange alert has been issued for rain and thundershowers on Thursday in 19 districts of North and East Bihar. Whereas, there is a yellow alert regarding rain and thunderclap in the rest of Bihar including the capital Patna.
Here, there is a possibility of thunder and rain with thunder in Patna and Jehanabad districts during the next two hours. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for both the districts.
Farmers have been warned to leave for the fields only after the weather becomes normal. The farmers who are out of the house have been alerted to reach the safe places.
On the other hand, there is a yellow alert for moderate to heavy rainfall in the districts of North and East Bihar including Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj, Araria, Madhepura, Supaul, Saharsa, Khagaria and Begusarai on May 26. There is a forecast of rain and thundershowers on Thursday and Friday in Patna as well.
The temperature has come down due to the pre-monsoon rains. The maximum temperature in Bihar remained between 29 to 39 degrees. Aurangabad recorded the highest temperature of 39 degrees on Thursday. Whereas, Pusa recorded the lowest maximum temperature of 29.7 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Center Patna, a cyclonic circulation area has formed in and around Jharkhand. Under their influence, there is a possibility of light rain with partly cloudy sky in and around Patna during the next 24 hours.
Orange alert has been issued with the flow of these strong winds in the northern parts of the state. On the other hand, on May 26, there will be hailstorm along with thunderstorms in the northern parts of the state.
