Krishnagiri: Collector KM Sarayu praised KR Harini, a student from Karungalipatti village near Mathur, who secured 289th rank in the civil service examination.

Ravi is a farmer from Karungalipatti near Mathur in Bochampalli district of Krishnagiri district. His wife is Gomati. She is working as a teacher in Kenginayakanpatti Government School. Their daughter is Harini (26). He has secured 289 rank in civil service national level.

Her parents say, “Harini was studying with interest to become an IAS right from childhood. He scored 1176 marks in the Plus 2 examination and graduated from the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. Later, he studied at Shankar IAS Academy, Chennai for 4 consecutive years and passed in 4th attempt. Also, Harini has passed the Group 2 examination last year and is working as an Agriculture Officer in Palayangottai. Now that my daughter has passed the IAS examination, it gives me great pride,” they said.

Poverty Alleviation, Rural Development: Harini says, “I am happy to have passed the IAS exam. I am happy to have chosen IAS career to bring government schemes to people. Poverty alleviation and rural development are my goals,” he said.

In this case, Krishnagiri District Collector KM Sarayu visited Karungalipatti village today and congratulated Harini. At that time, he said, “He has won the IAS examination and brought pride to Krishnagiri district.” Also, the Collector congratulated Harini’s parents who encouraged and inspired her.
