Amit Shah’s ‘prophecy’…Narendra Modi will become PM for the third consecutive time, also told how many seats BJP will win

Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that the BJP will win more than 300 seats in the upcoming general elections and Narendra Modi will win his third consecutive term as the Prime Minister. Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, he said that in 2024 the country’s oldest party will also struggle to retain its current number of seats in the Lok Sabha. Addressing a public meeting to mark the distribution of appointment letters to 44,703 successful candidates for Assam government jobs, the senior BJP leader said that by deciding to boycott the May 28 inauguration of the new Parliament House, the Congress Has adopted a ‘negative attitude’. The Union Home Minister criticized the Congress for politicizing the issue.

Amit Shah said, ‘Narendra Modi will again become PM next year with more than 300 seats. The Congress has lost the status of the opposition party and it will not be able to get even the number of seats it currently has in the Lok Sabha. The attitude of the Congress is negative. The PM will inaugurate the new Parliament House on May 28, but the Congress is doing politics by boycotting it, on the pretext that the President should inaugurate it. This statement of the Union Home Minister came when 21 opposition parties have expressed strong objection to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to inaugurate the new Parliament House. He has alleged that the inauguration of the new Parliament House by the Prime Minister undermines the constitutional role of the President of India, and disrespects him.

The matter has developed into a significant political controversy, fueling tensions between the ruling and opposition parties. The inauguration event has been boycotted by 21 opposition parties, who have said they see no value in a new building when ‘the soul of democracy has been killed’. Meanwhile, 25 parties – 18 NDA constituents and seven non-NDA parties – will be present at Sunday’s event. Amit Shah defended the government’s decision regarding the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament House by the Prime Minister and argued that there are many such examples in states ruled by the Congress party and the opposition. He pointed out that in those cases, the foundation stones for the new assembly buildings were laid by the respective chief ministers and prominent Congress leaders including Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, instead of the governors.

Amit Shah said, ‘Congress does not allow the PM to speak inside the Parliament and disrupts his address. The people of India have given mandate to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to speak in the Parliament. Not respecting the PM is like insulting the mandate of the people of the country. Additionally, the Union Home Minister said that the BJP had committed to offer one lakh government jobs in Assam before the 2021 assembly elections. Within a period of two and a half years, 86,000 jobs have already been provided, and the remaining jobs will be provided within the next 6 months. Let us tell you that on May 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the country’s new parliament, whose foundation stone he laid on December 10, 2020. The Lok Sabha chamber of the new parliament will have 888 seats and the Rajya Sabha chamber will have 384 seats.
