Uppcs-2023: PCS Pre Result May Come Next Month, Main Exam Is Proposed From 23 September

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) PCS-2023 preliminary exam result may be released by the middle of June or earlier. In the calendar of the Commission, the main examination is proposed from 23 September. Usually, the commission gives 90 days time to the candidates to prepare from the result of the preliminary examination till the main examination.

The preliminary examination for recruitment to 173 posts of PCS was conducted on May 14 in two shifts in 1241 centers in 51 districts of the state. 565459 candidates applied for the exam out of which 341392 candidates (60.37%) appeared in the exam. The provisional answer key of the examination has been released by the commission and the result is ready to be declared soon.

In the calendar of UPPSC, the main examination of PCS-2023 is proposed from 23 September. Commission sources say that this time the final selection result of PCS is ready to be released in nine months. For this, the exercise has already started. If the final result is released in nine months, then it will be a new record of the commission.

However, the commission has made a record by releasing the final result of PCS-2022 in 10 months. This time UPPSC released the result of PCS-2022 before the Civil Services Examination-2022 of the Union Public Service Commission. There were very few occasions when the result of PCS came before the result of IAS exam.
