The case of two girls from Madhya Pradesh claiming 184th rank in UPSC has come to an end. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared Dewas’s Ayesha Fatima as correct and Ayesha of Alirajpur’s claim has been declared false. A clarification has been issued by the commission and it has been told that Ayesha Makrani has forged documents in her favor to prove her claims. Let us tell you that Amar Ujala had first brought the matter to the fore and in the investigation had told the mistakes of Ayesha Makrani’s admit card.

Let us inform that the results of UPSC came on Tuesday, in which two Ayesha of Madhya Pradesh had claimed their selection at 184th rank. Clarification has been given by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday evening in the matter. It has been told that it has come to the notice of UPSC that 184th rank was being claimed fraudulently. This claim is false. The claimant has forged documents in his favor to prove his claims. UPSC’s system is robust as well as foolproof and such errors are not possible.

It was informed that Ayesha Makrani s/o Salimuddin Makrani who is claiming her final recommendation by UPSC has been found to have forged documents in her favor. His original roll number is 7805064. He appeared in the preliminary examination held on June 5, 2022 and secured only 22.22 marks in General Studies Paper-I and 21.09 marks in General Studies Paper-II. As per the requirement of examination rules, they were required to obtain at least 66 marks in Paper-II. She has not only failed to qualify in Paper-II but also scored marks much less than the cut-off marks of Paper-I which was 88.22 for unreserved category for preliminary examination for the year 2022. Hence, Ayesha Makrani has failed. At the stage of preliminary examination itself and could not proceed to the next stages of examination. On the other hand Ayesha Fathima s/o Shri Naziruddin, whose Roll No. is 7811744, is a genuine candidate who has been recommended by UPSC for securing 184th Rank in the Final Result of Civil Services Examination, 2022.

consider punitive action

It was informed by the Commission that Ayesha Makrani has violated the provisions of the Civil Services Examination, 2022 Rules notified by the Government of India (Department of Personnel and Training). Therefore, as per the provisions of the Examination Rules, UPSC is considering criminal and disciplinary punitive action against them for their fraudulent acts.

Amar Ujala had investigated and told these mistakes
After the matter came to light, when Amar Ujala had investigated at our level, some mistakes were seen in the admit card of Ayesha Makrani. In the admit card of Ayesha Makrani, the date of personality test was written as April 25 and the day was mentioned as Thursday. But April 25 was a Tuesday. The admit card of Alirajpur’s Ayesha looked like a print out on plain paper. The QR code was also not visible in the Ayesha Makrani Admit Card. Now UPSC has also rejected the claim of Ayesha Makrani.
