There was an attempt of forgery in the Civil Services Examination of UPSC as well. The Commission has decided to take criminal action against two bogus candidates claiming to have passed the final examination. The commission said on Friday that Ayesha Makrani of Madhya Pradesh and Tushar of Haryana claimed to have passed the Civil Services Examination-2022 through fake documents by claiming the roll numbers of two candidates as their own. Both failed in PT itself. In fact Tushar Kumar of Bihar got 44th rank and Ayesha Fatima of Madhya Pradesh got 184th rank. UPSC has said that its system is foolproof and such mistakes are not possible.
Commission had to give clarification because 2 candidates who failed in PT had fraudulently claimed selection
case 1
Tushar vs Tushar (44th rank)
There are two candidates named Tushar Kumar who got 44th rank. One is from Rewari district of Haryana and the other is from Sultanganj of Bhagalpur, Bihar.
Why the confusion?
1.The roll numbers in both the admit cards are also same.
2. Both claimed themselves on the 44th rank.
what did the commission say
Tushar, son of Brijmohan of Rewari, had roll number 2208860 in PT. He got -22.89 in PT’s GS Paper-1 and 44.73 in Paper-2. Cut off 66 marks not found in paper-2. He was a failure. Therefore, it is certified that Tushar Kumar (Roll No. 1521306), son of Ashwani Kumar Singh of Bhagalpur, has secured 44th rank in UPSC.
