
From June 9, strong hot winds can blow in UP during the day. Thunderstorm accompanied with strong winds (50-60 kmph) is expected in many areas. Monsoon rains are continuing in Kerala. There is a forecast of such heavy rains till June 10. IMD said that there could be a delay of 2-3 days in the onset of monsoon.
Cyclonic storm forming in Arabian Sea, will cause heavy rain
The Meteorological Department said on Tuesday that a depression has formed over the Arabian Sea. It is very likely to move northwards and intensify into a cyclonic storm during the next 24 hours. Due to this, heavy rains are expected in the coastal areas.
The effect of Western Disturbance is still intact in Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Center Lucknow has issued a weather warning for Wednesday, saying that there may be drizzle with thunder and lightning once or twice in Lucknow, while in the western and eastern districts there is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning with a speed of 60 km per hour. There are chances of rain as well. In view of the possibility of rain in the state on Tuesday, the IMD has issued an alert. The department has issued Orange Alert in some districts of the state and Yellow Alert in many districts.
The Meteorological Department has issued warnings in the state for Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Amroha, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Etah, Kasganj, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Allahabad, Hardoi, Sitapur, Kannauj, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli. Heavy rain is expected in Etawah, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas. Orange alert has been issued in these 24 districts.
There is a rain alert in 28 districts of UP today. The Meteorological Department has issued orange alert in 23 districts and yellow alert in 38 districts. It has been warned that hail will also fall along with thunder and lightning. Till June 7, there will be continuous rain in the state. The maximum temperature is likely to remain below normal or normal during the next 5 days.
While the state’s Shamli, Saharanpur, Bijnor, Sambhal, Rampur, Badaun, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Goda, Ayodhya, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur, Banda, Kaushambi, Chitrakut Light to moderate rain is lashing Prayagraj and adjoining areas. Yellow alert has been issued in these districts.
