According to Mohammad Danish, the scientific forecaster of Zonal Meteorology Center, generally after June 18 to 20, monsoon enters Uttar Pradesh via Gorakhpur, but nothing can be said with certainty about the arrival of monsoon in the state right now. . He said that as the monsoon progresses in the next three-four days, according to that it will become clear when the monsoon will reach Uttar Pradesh.
For the time being, from next week, the atmosphere before the onset of monsoon will start forming in the state. From coming June 10, the process of strong thunderstorms and rain will start in different areas of the state and it will continue till June 14. Presently, outbreak of heatwave is continuing in the state. Kushinagar and Prayagraj were the hottest places in the state on Thursday. The day temperature at both these places was recorded at 44 degree Celsius on Thursday in Kushinagar and Prayagraj respectively.
