Malayalees describe Mammootty as age-defying beauty. Mammootty’s care about his body as an actor is admirable even in his 70s when he is busy in Malayalam cinema.
Director Ranji Panicker shares his experience on the shooting location of Raudram movie. Ranji Panicker says that when Mammootty was asked what food he did not eat on location, he said that he had lost all taste.
Ranji Panicker said that is why Mammooka is still so young. He was talking to One India Malayalam.
‘We were eating on the location of the film Raudram, which I directed in 2008. Mammooka was not enjoying anything when I looked. I asked Pulli why this aversion to food.
Because the Mammooka I know is a good foodie. Pulli said, I have no taste. I asked if there was any illness.
Then Mammooka said, I have lost my taste because I have abstained from this food for so many years because of illness. It has been 15 years since 2008. The man has been restricting all those opportunities for 20 years, even though he has the ability to eat as much as he likes.
He is afraid to eat a food he likes. Because it is an obligation for him to maintain that form. Now it’s his responsibility to keep it up with everyone saying that Mammooka is still so young,’ says Ranji Panicker.
