Directed by Jio Baby, Mammootty and Jyothika starrer Malayalam movie ‘Kadal: The Core’ will hit the theaters the day after tomorrow (23rd). Mammootty, who attended the film’s promotion event in Kochi, was questioned by reporters about the online reviews.
He replied, “Let anyone watch the films and criticize them. Every individual has the right to express his views. But that should be their own opinion. It should not be due to external pressures or other people’s motivations. I don’t think banning online reviews can save the film industry. Similarly, I don’t believe that the outcome of a film is decided solely by online reviews.”
But director Jio Baby did not agree with Mammootty’s opinion. “Today there are many online content creators. As for me I don’t care about online movie reviews. “Online reviews should be regulated,” he said. Jyothika was with him during the interview.
