Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj on Monday announced the title of his next film with Rajinikanth. Lokesh also shared a three-minute-long title teaser of the film, which was earlier titled ‘Thalaivar 171’, on Twitter on Monday. Lokesh Kanagaraj had announced ‘Thalaivar 171’. The name of this film is ‘Coolie’. In the video, many people are seen working in a factory, from gold chains to watches. One of the employees gets a call that an unknown person has breached security and they should be careful. As soon as he comes out with a gold chain to beat that person, he is beaten in return. The fight scenes between Rajinikanth’s character and the workers are amazing. The entire teaser has been shot in black and white, with only the golden hue visible. While sharing the poster, Lokesh tweeted, ‘We love you Thalaivaa @Rajinikanth (red heart emoji). Coolie .’

About ‘Coolie’

This is Rajinikanth’s first film with Lokesh. The film is produced by Sun Pictures and was announced in September last year. There are reports that Sivakarthikeyan will play a special role in the film but the rest of the cast and crew have not been announced yet. Composer Anirudh Ravichander and stunt duo Anbariv have been selected for the film.
