Prakash Jha: This year, Bollywood’s graph at the box office continued to decline. From ‘Bachchan Pandey’ to ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ to the current film ‘Laiger’, almost all Bollywood films have been flops. Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chadha was also ravished by the audience.
Currently, one such director has commented on the current state of Bollywood by strongly criticizing Aamir Khan.
MX Player’s ‘Ashram’ web series director Prakash Jha has criticized Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chadha’. Talking about the failure of the film, the director said, “An artiste cannot make a film with only money, corporates and high fees. Prakash Jha adds, “Hindi industry people talk in Hindi language but what are they making? They are only thinking of making remakes. If you don’t have a story to tell, stop making films.”
Prakash Jha says that if the content of a film is good, it will definitely work. While promoting his upcoming film “Matto Ki Shakeel”, Prakash Jha says, “This is a wake-up call for the film industry. They are making crap movies and they should understand that. A film cannot be made only by paying huge fees to corporates and actors. There is a need to write a good story, which will understand and entertain the audience.”
He adds, “Boycotts have always been a trend. Now people are voicing their opinions on social media. They have made a film that no one can relate to, so how is the film going to make money. I don’t like people saying, ‘Wow, what a film.’ Not found yet.
Finally, Prakash praised Aamir Khan’s efforts, saying, “I agree that you have worked hard and put all your efforts into the film, but when the content of your film is not the only factor, you cannot say that your film did not work. .”
