New Delhi, Jnn. Vijay Deverakonda’s film ‘Liger’ flopped so badly that the film makers are still in shock. Vijay Deverakonda had made such big claims about Ananya Pandey starrer Liger, which was released on August 25 that he is now being made fun of on social media. The ‘Arjun Reddy’ star had given a direct challenge to the boycotters that if you do not like my film then do not come to see it. This is where things are causing trouble for Vijay.

‘Flop Hui Liger’

According to the reports of Bollywood Hungama, this film has been made in a budget of more than 100 crores. However, Liger failed to do well at the box office. Now, as reported by News18, the actor has decided to give over Rs 6 crore to the filmmakers who have suffered huge losses. It is reported that Vijay has decided to compensate the producers for the loss of Charmi Kaur and others.

Vijay Deverakonda made this announcement

Earlier, Manoj Desai, executive director of Mumbai’s famous Maratha temple and Gaiety Galaxy, took out his anger on Vijay Deverakonda by sharing a video on YouTube. He had said that such a statement of Hero makes people angry. However, later Manoj Desai told that Vijay Deverakonda had come to Mumbai from Hyderabad to apologize to him. The actor cleared all the misunderstandings by talking to him. He said, “Yes, he has come to meet me to clear the misunderstanding.”

Puri Jagannadh returned the money

Earlier also it was reported that the producer of the film, Puri Jagannadh has decided to pay compensation to the distributors who have suffered huge losses due to the flop of Liger. Talking to E-Times, Warangal Srinu, a film distributor from South, blamed Boycott for the film’s flop. He had said that ‘the poor crew members will have to bear the brunt of the actors and filmmakers’ boycott on social media, all this is ruining their families. Such a trend will reduce films and the poor people engaged in production will have to bear the brunt. They will face financial crisis and their family will find it difficult to get bread.
