Propaganda in Mallikapuram?; Rachana Narayanankutty says
Descriptive text here

Actress Rachana Narayanankutty praises Malikappuram movie. The actress says that when she saw this movie, she went through many joys and sorrows that she had seen, known and felt in her life.

Words by Rachana Narayanankutty:

Malikappuram…Nowadays, whatever movie is released, whether it is a propaganda movie or political correctness is mostly discussed. Many of us are more excited to question the political correctness of a movie than whether it entertains or entertains us. For art to entertain us, we must be a friend. Sahridayan sits at a higher position than an ordinary spectator. Because a friend is one who has a similar heart. It is a quality. The quality the audience should have. That is why it is often said about many films and art forms that “not everyone’s cup of tea”. Kathakali is an example of that. But most of the audience have come to the position of friends after watching the drama.

The movie Malikappuram that I saw yesterday, directed by Vishnu Shashi Shankar, screenplay by Abhilash Pillai and produced by Priya Venu and Neeta Pinto, starring my dear friend Unni Mukundan as the hero, is a state of the art film that takes us from being an ordinary audience to making us friends. While traveling with Malikappuram in the movie, I went through many joys and sorrows that I have seen, known and experienced in life.

When I was in the fifth grade, I went to Malikappuram, went to see Ayyappan with Etan, dropped my petta, went to Vavar church, threw rice on Apache and Ipachi meds, stuck a stake in the sharamkuthi, saw the stables on Malikappuram, and climbed 18 steps to see Ayyan, it all happened yesterday. Every call of Malikappuram in the movie “Ayyappa” makes me feel that Ayyappan is inside me!!! Ayyappan Entakatom Swami Entakatom …Ayyappa Tintakatom Swami Tintakatom… Tattvamasi !

Great performance by all the actresses and actors. Unni has great screen presence and behavior. Kallu Malikappuram (Devananda) and Piyush Swamy (Sreepath) fell in love. Saiju, Pisharati, Ravi Uncle, Sreejith Chetan, Manohari Amma, Alfie and Ranji Panicker sir stood full. When Sampath Ramji’s body and body woke up for the character, dear Manojettathangal is always a wonder!

Now let’s come to the first point … Is there propaganda in this movie? There is … propagating the values of life! It is propagating the feeling of Bhakti! Is there political correctness?? Yes.. not offensive to any race, gender or culture! But Malikappuram propagates something beyond all this…Spiritual correctness! Who can convey that correctness more beautifully than Malikappuram and Ayyappan!

Waiting for the days of 50 years to see Ayyan, the owner of the four Vedas, four Varnas, four Payams, and six Shastras, who is the owner of those eighteen steps, who makes the battle of Tattvamasi true…Swami Sharan
