Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the Delhi government will use the expertise and experience of sportspersons from across India to build a world-class sports institution.

CM Kejriwal personally met Commonwealth Games-2022 gold medalist Amit Pangal and bronze medalist Pooja Khelat. He discussed with them about developing a conducive environment for sports in Delhi and across the country. During this meeting, the Chief Minister said: You have made the entire country proud with your excellent performance. We are proud of athletes like Amit and Pooja. Also, we wish them great success in the future.

The Delhi Government has established the Delhi Sports University to identify talented people across the country and nurture them to take them to the world stage. Delhi Sports University is not just for Delhi; It belongs to the whole country. We will leverage the expertise and experience of athletes across India to build a world-class sports organization. State-of-the-art sports infrastructure is essential across India.

Delhi Government is very active in promoting all kinds of sports. He said that it is investing heavily in infrastructure and education. Amit Pangal won the gold medal in boxing at Commonwealth Games-2022. Pooja Gehlot won a bronze medal in wrestling at the Birmingham Games. Pooja Khelat has been representing Delhi at the national level. Also, he is getting training in sports facilities of the state.

Kejriwal congratulated Khelat and Bangal for bringing victory and glory to India. He also wished them luck to win many such medals for the country in the future.
