For this, Kohli acquired a portion of the bungalow ‘Gauri Kunj’ in Juhu, Mumbai, owned by the late actor and legendary singer Kishore Kumar’s family. Kohli is the owner of ‘One 8 Commune’ business chain. It refers to his jersey number ’18’. ‘One 8 Commune’ Instagram page has written ‘Juhu, Mumbai Coming Soon’. The chain has restaurants with a bar in Virat Kohli’s hometown of Delhi, Kolkata and Pune. Clothing, perfumes, shoes etc. are also launched under the ‘One 8’ brand. The Juhu space previously housed a restaurant called ‘B Mumbai’. It is now closed. It was in the news that the Mumbai Municipal Corporation issued a notice to the firm several years ago for illegal constructions. The restaurant owners solved it by demolishing a part.
