The 2023 ODI World Cup has set an all-time high attendance record. This edition has set a record as the highest attendance World Cup in the history of the World Cup. ICC announced that 1,250,307 people attended this World Cup. Among the 13 ODI World Cup tournaments, this is the highest attended World Cup. One lakh spectators attended the final match. A record 92,453 people attended the match between India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, it is known that Australia won against Team India by 6 wickets in the World Cup final held on November 19. In that match, India lost the toss and batted first and were restricted to the nominal score (240). Although the Aussies lost 3 wickets in the opening match, they recovered brilliantly and became world champions for the sixth time. Aussie bowlers Starc (3/55), Hazlewood (2/60), Cummins (2/34), Maxwell (1/35), Zampa (1/44) bowled tightly and ruled the downfall of Team India.
