Hasan Ali was able to take 9 wickets in the World Cup tournament. He took 4 wickets for 71 runs against Sri Lanka which was his personal best. Hasan Ali has a special connection with India. Hassan and his wife Samia first met during a dinner party at a restaurant. Soon the two became friends and later both got married with the consent of the family. Both were married in Dubai. Significantly, Samia is originally from India.

Born in Haryana, Samia was working with Air Emirates in Dubai for the past several years. She was a flight engineer with Air Emirates. She did B. from Manav Rachna University, Haryana. Graduated in Tech (Aeronautics). Samia has settled in Dubai for the past several years. Her family lives in New Delhi. On the occasion of the World Cup, Hasan Ali came to Sasari for the first time and was pampered here.
