Australia Test Series: Pakistan 3 new faces in the team

The Pakistan squad for the Test series against Australia was announced on Monday. 3 new faces have been introduced in it.

The team has been announced by Pakistan’s new captain Wahab Riaz. Mir Hamza has joined the 18-ball team led by Shan Masood. 9 players from the Pakistan team who participated in the recent ODI World Cup have also joined this series. Faqar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Usama Mir, Shatab Khan and Iftik Ahmed were not affected.

Saim Ayub, Aamir Jamal, Khurram Shezad made their debut in ODI cricket. While Saim and Aamir have already seen the field in T20 cricket, this is Shezad’s first international opportunity. Wahab Riaz has said that Naseem Shah, who has undergone surgery for a shoulder injury, is not available for the Australian series as it may take 3 more weeks for him to fully prepare.

The first match of the Test series will be played in Potts from December 14 to 18, the second match in Melbourne from December 26 to 30 and the third match in Sydney from January 3 to 7.
