Ruturaj Gaikwad Become Chennai Super Kings Captain First Who Scored Hundred In IPL : In the 39th match of IPL, Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad once again came down to play the opener. In the opening match against Lucknow Super Giants, he scored a 56-ball century.

With his century, Chennai crossed the 200-run mark against Lucknow. Along with this century, Rituraj Gaikwad also made a big record as the captain of CSK.

Rituraj Gaikwad scored a century in 56 balls. This is his second century in IPL. But this is his first century as the captain of Chennai. Along with this century, Rituraj Gaikwad did what Chennai Super Kings captains could not do in the history of IPL.

Rituraj has become the first captain of Chennai Super Kings to score a century. Earlier even Stephen Fleming and Mahendra Singh Dhoni could not do such a feat.
