Hong Kong player proposes to female friend in gallery to ‘set’ girlfriend even if she loses the game

Dubai: Hong Kong player Kinchit Shah is happy despite losing the match against India in the Asia Cup. Because after the team lost, Kinch Shah went straight to propose to his female friend who was watching the game in the gallery. As India’s Deepak Chahar had done before, Kinchit got down on his knees in the gallery and opened his loving heart to his friend. Finally, when his friend also said yes, Kinchit’s happiness knew no bounds. A picture of Kinchit proposing to a female friend in a gallery has gone viral on social media.

In yesterday’s match, 26-year-old Shah, who came into bat at number 4, scored 30 runs off 28 balls. Kinchith’s innings consisted of four fours and one six. Kinchit got out in the 18th over of the match. Kinchit has played 43 T20 matches for Hong Kong and has scored 633 runs at an average of 20.42. The highest score was 79 against Ireland in 2019. Kinchit also took 11 wickets in T20 cricket.

Kinchit is of Indian origin and was born in Mumbai. Kinchit is currently the vice-captain of the Hong Kong team. Hong Kong’s next match is against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

In the second match of Group A held yesterday, India defeated Hong Kong by 40 runs and reached the Super Four. After losing the toss, India scored 192 runs for the loss of just two wickets with the batting power of Suryakumar Yadav (68 off 26 balls) and Virat Kohli (59 off 44 balls). In reply, Hong Kong managed to score 152 runs for the loss of five wickets. India defeated Pakistan in the first match.
