Tilak Varma is still continuing the same momentum. He hit a century in his first match in India-A. He achieved this feat in the ongoing unofficial Test match against the New Zealand-A team. He made his debut in the match itself. Tilak Verma got the century mark a little while ago in this match which is being held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. He got out after scoring 121 runs. Walker was caught by Solia bowling and got out.
India-A declared its first innings on the fourth day. The innings declared at 571 runs shortly after Tilak Verma was dismissed. New Zealand A were bowled out for exactly 400 runs in their first innings. Joe Carter scored 197 runs. Instead, India-A scored 571 runs in their first innings. A total of three centuries have been registered in the Indian team. Opener Abhimanya Easwaran scored 132 runs, Rajat Patidar scored 176 runs and Tilak Verma scored 121 runs.
This is also the debut match for Rajat Patidar. It is known that he is representing Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. Captain Priyank Panchal scored 47 runs. Ruthuraj Gaikwad failed. He scored only 21 runs. Sarfaraz Khan was restricted to 36 runs. By the time the innings was declared, wicket keeper Shrikar Bharat-23 and Kuldeep Yadav-8 were not out.
