Mushfiqur Rahim Retirement : Bangladesh Star Cricketer Wicketkeeper Batsman Mushfiqur Rahim (Mushfiqur Rahim) has announced his retirement from T20 international cricket. Rahim has played 102 matches for Bangladesh. Mushfiqur Rahim played an important role in helping the team win many matches. But he could not perform particularly well in the Asia Cup. Bangladesh faced defeat in both the matches. Due to this, the team could not reach the Super Four. He scored only one run against Afghanistan and only four runs against Sri Lanka. As Bangladesh lost in both these matches, they had to take the road out of the Asia Cup.
Experienced wicketkeeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim is the attacking player of the team. He has played 102 T20 matches so far and scored 1500 runs with 72 being his highest score.

Mushfiqur Rahim has created a record in Asia Cup 2018. He scored a brilliant century in this match. Centurion Rahim surpassed legends like Dhoni and Sangakkara due to this record. Rahim scored 144 runs off 150 balls in the match against Sri Lanka. This was the second best innings in the history of the Asia Cup. This was the highest score by a wicketkeeper in the Asia Cup. Mushfiqur surpassed former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara to surpass this record. Prior to that, Kumar Sangakkara had the highest score as a wicketkeeper in the Asia Cup. Sangakkara scored 121 against Bangladesh in 2008.
Apart from this, Mushfiqur has made a distinct impression with his performance in ODI and Test matches as well.
