First Half: Uruguay missed the opportunity

Uruguay’s FIFA World Cup 2022 Group H match against South Korea ended in a goalless first half. Uruguay, which is relatively strong, tried to attack South Korea’s goal post. But they could not score a goal. Both teams played evenly in passing and ball possession. But the experienced Uruguayan could not penetrate South Korea’s defense. South Korea, on the other hand, also had many chances to score.

Second Half : Uruguay’s attack was stopped by Korea

In the second half, the experienced Uruguay increased their attacking edge and tried to penetrate South Korea’s good defense. But due to lack of finishing, they could not penetrate this defense. Uruguay had the most attacking presence throughout the match. But out of 10 shots, only one of them was on target. Meanwhile, Uruguay made several moves under pressure as the second half ticked away. Both teams tried to score until the last minute. But due to the lack of clean play, the shots went off the goal post or near the goal post. In the end, the match was tied with zero goals.
