In Annur, Coimbatore district, farmers have come together to protest against the acquisition of agricultural land and establishment of an industrial estate. In this situation, the BJP is planning to hold a demonstration today in support of the farmers.
The party’s state president Annamalai is coming to Annur today to participate in it. To welcome him, the BJP has put up banners at Chattishala, Mettupalayam road and other places. Also, flagpoles have been planted in the middle of the road.
