The daughter of Dr RK Verma, the medical officer of Budhar Block Medical Officer of Shahdol district, committed suicide by hanging herself in her house on Monday morning. Deceased Dr Kritika Verma was selected for PG MD Medicine in Rewa Medical College this year after doing MBBS. Today, just a few hours before joining there, the hanging body of the lady doctor was found in the bathroom of her house. As soon as the incident was known, a wave of mourning spread in the area.

Had to leave for Rewa today

Family members say that Kritika was preparing since morning to go to Rewa, she went to the bathroom to take bath and did not come out for a long time. When she opened the door, she saw that the dead body was hanging. Police were informed about the matter. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team including the station in-charge reached the spot.

According to the information, Dr. Krutika was working for a long time at the Community Health Center, Burhar, under her BMO father. In this regard, Burhar police station in-charge Sanjay Jaiswal said that Kritika Verma was posted at Burhar Community Health Center. On Monday morning, Dr. Kritika Verma committed suicide by hanging herself in the bathroom. A prima facie case has been established and investigation has been started.
