Raigarh Police of Maharashtra has solved the mystery of a murder. Raigarh Police said on Monday that Chandrakant Kamble was shot dead near Tice Railway Gate in August 2021. CCTV cameras captured a young man during the murder, identified as Vijay Ramesh Shetty, a native of Kalaburagi, Karnataka. Police tracked his number and caught him from Akkalkot in Solapur district.

Police said that Shetty was interrogated, after which the entire matter could be revealed. The murder took place over a domestic dispute. Actually, Shetty’s wife is Vimal Kamble’s sister. Vimal had a fight with Shetty, after which she was living at her brother’s place. Shetty wanted divorce and demanded Rs 10 lakh. For this reason Shetty killed Kamble. Police have recovered two country-made guns and live cartridges from the accused.

Nagpur police registered a case

Police have registered a case against four hotel employees in connection with the death of a businessman due to drowning in a swimming pool in Nagpur. Police said that Sushant Dhopte had drowned in the hotel pool on July 4. Investigation into the matter found that there was no coach in the pool. Safety equipment was also not available. Therefore, the police registered a case against hotel general manager Sujitkumar Singh, coach Akshay Chaturkar, manager Anurag Gurjar and employee Amol Kokate in case of death due to negligence.

Four accused arrested in fraud case

Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested four people for embezzling money from a woman by cheating her. The victim had complained that she was looking for a part-time job. During this time, he received a link on WhatsApp regarding the rating of hotels on Google Map. He had initially received some money for this. Later, the accused had extorted Rs 9.68 lakh from the victim by luring her with Rs 26 lakh. Police said that the accused have been arrested from Pune and Ahmednagar as well as Haryana.
