Businessman Subrata Roy Last Rites – Sahara Group founder Subroto Roy was laid to rest on Thursday (November 16) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Grandson Himank Roy cremated his body. Subroto Roy’s two sons Sushanto and Seemanto Roy could not attend the funeral. The reason for this has been revealed.

According to News 24, when people asked Subrata Roy’s wife Swapna Roy why their children did not come, she said that they were abroad and could not travel due to some reasons, so she called her grandson Himank from London. who cremated the body of Subroto Roy. Himank is the eldest son of Subrata Roy’s younger son Seemanto and studies in London.

Subroto Roy’s cremation was attended by many eminent persons. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and former Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also came to pay homage to Subroto Roy.

Subroto Roy died of cardiorespiratory arrest –

Subroto Roy passed away on Tuesday (November 14) night. He was 75 years old. He was ill for the past several days. Roy was admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on November 12 due to deteriorating health, a statement was issued.

According to the statement, Roy died of cardiorespiratory arrest at 10:30 pm on November 14 while battling complications from metastases, high blood pressure and diabetes.

Who is in Subroto Roy’s family now?

Subroto Roy is survived by wife Swapna Roy and two sons Sushanto Roy and Seemant Roy. His children also belong to the Sahara group. Roy did not declare his successor during his lifetime. Their children are supposed to take care of their father’s business.
