Gumla: When the woman saw criminals stealing goats in Mahuatoli village of Sursang police station area, the criminals strangulated the woman to death. Taking action in this incident, the police has arrested one of the three accused. Police said that on November 19, they received information that the body of an elderly woman was found in Mahuva Toli Manjha Pahad forest. After identifying the body, it was found that it was the body of Benjamin Tigga’s wife.
The police registered an FIR in the matter and started investigation. In which it was revealed that some people had reached the woman’s house with a plan to steal the goat. Before this, everyone consumed ganja, cigarettes and cola drinks together. Then came to steal the goat. Then the woman saw this and raised a loud noise. Seeing this, the criminals pushed the woman to the ground and left her half dead. After that, to hide his identity, he was strangled to death.
In this case, police arrested Samiullah Shah, Mahua Toli from Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. During interrogation, the accused told the police about the involvement of two other people also. In which one is a minor. Police is busy searching for 2 other absconding accused. It is said that cases are registered against the arrested accused in Lohardaga district also.
