According to the latest bulletin of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a trough like a trough near the west-central Bay of Bengal and south-west Sri Lanka. It is S-shaped with clouds. It is not spindly. Its impact will be seen on South India. However, the stormy weather over South India is continuing.
Due to cyclonic weather, Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra, Kerala and Karnataka will receive light to moderate and heavy rains at isolated places today, the IMD said. Nothing more was said.

Light to moderate rain will occur over East, South Rayalaseema and Coastal areas after 3 pm. It will rain in East and South Rayalaseema after 7 pm. This will take till 11 pm.
Other parts of AP and Telangana will have cloudy weather today. However, compared to AP, there are chances of some sunshine in Telangana today. People going to election campaigns should take proper precautions.
The wind speed in the Bay of Bengal is 11 to 23 kilometers per hour. Winds are blowing into Rayalaseema. Winds are blowing at a speed of 7 to 14 kilometers per hour in AP. In Telangana, winds are blowing at a speed of 8 to 14 kilometers per hour. Hence there is no feeling of exhaustion.
If you look at the temperatures, Telangana has a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius at night and a maximum of 22 degrees Celsius. AP has a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius at night and a maximum of 25 degrees Celsius. Daytime maximum in Telangana is 29 degrees. Daytime maximum will be 29 degrees in AP as well.
