Ankur Tripathi, Greater Noida. The district and block level teams formed to inspect the government schools running in the four blocks of the district are not going out to check the quality of education and mid-day meals.

Due to lack of inspection in schools, the district has come at 73rd position in the state. Members of both the teams have to inspect more than five schools every month and update them on the Prerna app. In the October report of the Chief Minister Dashboard, Gautam Buddha Nagar is in the worst condition in the division.

In the month of October, only 275 out of 575 schools were inspected by members of the district and block level team. Only 47.83 percent schools were inspected. Whereas maximum number of schools were inspected in Baghpat. The teams there inspected 581 schools out of 590.

Even in September, only 56.17 percent schools were inspected. In September the district was at 50th position. Districts which inspect more than 98 percent of schools are given 10 marks by the government, but due to not meeting the target, the district has been lagging behind for many months.
